He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Kelly and Bertha Laverne Kelly (Scarborough); his wife Edna Kelly; and his siblings, Jack Kelly, Thomas Kelly, Eugene Kelly and Martha Bomar.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Kelly, Jr. (Julie) of Plainview, TX, Pat McKeown (Gene) of Shallowater, TX and Marilyn Jordan of Lubbock, TX. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Abell Funeral Home - Abernathy (411 16th St, Abernathy, TX 79311). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Spur Senior Citizens, 210 Burlington Ave., Spur, TX 79370.
