It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennye Jo Blau of Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Barton and Ludean Barton; her husband Lewis Blau; and her daughter Phyllis Fortenberry. She is survived by: her son Barton (Donna) of Scottsdale, AZ.; her son-in-law Don Fortenberry of Hideaway, TX; her grandchildren, Ryan, Kara, Alex and Kady; and her great grandchildren, Mark, Ryder, Kaselyn, Kinsey, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Jack and Joey.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heart Cemetery.
