He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Strawn. He is survived by: his father Jim Strawn; his children, Jennifer Strawn, Waylon Strawn (MJ Phillips) and Lyndee Ayala (Ben Ayala); his grandchildren, Jared Strawn, Addison, Benjamin Ayala, Oakley and Phoenix Strawn-Cash; his sisters, MaryAnn Gordon, Jackie, Nancy Hoffman (Rick) and Carolyn Hair (Donnie); and also, Bo and Marita Jackson.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage House (109 N Ave N, Lubbock, TX 79401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial (6025 82nd St, Lubbock, TX 79424).
