He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey and Lula Ann Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Velma Briggs; his children, Connie Rogers Jones (Mark) and Jeff Rogers (Lois); his grandchildren, Matthew (Shawna), Ashley (Jason), Garrett (Kayla) and J. C. (Caroline); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Sadie, Ruby, Glenda and Stetson.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Idalou Friday (701 Main St, Idalou, TX 79329). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Idalou (102 E 7th St, Idalou, TX 79329).
