It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Guillermina D. Aguirre in Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Duarte and Aurelia Munoz. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Aguirre, Sr.; her children, Richard Aguirre (Dianne), Gustavo Aguirre (Gloria), Idalia Northcott (Mike), Mary Helen Aguirre (Trip Jennings) and Sam Aguirre (Sara); and her grandchildren, Jose Aguirre (Amanda), Ricardo Aguirre (Leslie), Marihelen Patrick (Stephen), Jacob Aguirre (Angela), Gus Aguirre (Kara), Aaron Aguirre, Raymond Salazar, Ryan Salazar, William Jennings, Kathryn Jennings, Amanda Aguirre, Alejandra Aguirre and Lauren Aguirre. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Home (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1120 52nd St, Lubbock, TX 79412).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church's Guadalupanas.
