She was predeceased by: her parents, Florentino Cruz and Margarita Cruz; and her son Albert Gamboa. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Gamboa, Jr.; her sons, Raymond David Gamboa III (Liz Lopez), John Michael Gamboa (Belinda Hill), Anthony Florentino Gamboa (Denise Devora) of Dallas and Robert Gamboa of Los Angeles, California; her grandchildren, Amber Smith (Christopher Smith), Michael Anthony Gamboa (Hayden Robertson), Marcus Aaron Gamboa, Olivia Guadalupe Gamboa, Christian Anthony Gamboa, Alex Gomez (Ember) and Miranda Camacho (Isaiah); her great grandchild Jessie Adam Gomez; her siblings, Abel Cruz of El Paso, Monsignor David Cruz, Martina Rodriguez (Tomas), Juanita Hernandez, Jesusa Gonzales, Beatrice Rodriguez, Audelia Alvarado, Margaret Callison, Sofia Flores, Maria Lydia Keenmon of Houston, Texas and Helen Carrizalez (Luis); and her sister-in-law Jane Cruz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Guajardo Funeral Chapels (407 N University Ave, Lubbock, TX 79415). A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A Mass will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christ the King Cathedral (4011 54th St, Lubbock, TX 79413). A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park (15602 TX-493 Loop, Lubbock, TX 79423).
