He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Augusta Haugen and Mildred Marie Heller Haugen; his daughter Joane Haugen; his brother Robert Haugen; and his granddaughter Misty Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Merlene Haugen of Smyer; his children, Duwayne (Debbie Haugen), Steven (Christine Haugen) and Mary Ann Lindsey; his stepchildren, Fred (Ricki Caswell), Patty (Don Tedder) and Donna (Gary Dockery); and his siblings, Lawrence Haugen, Ona Roberts and Marvyl Ann (Keith Rank). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
