He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A. Powell and Lucille Bond Powell; and his siblings, Helen Medeiros, Ann Johnson, Donovan Powell, Wayne Powell and Sam Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie Powell; his children, Terry Davis (Nancy) of Lubbock, TX, Kenny Davis (Shelly) of Albuquerque, NM and Kristi Sneed (Breck) of Clovis, NM; his brother Daryl Powell (Carol) of Carson City, NV; his daughter-in-law Gina Davis of Clovis, NM; and his grandchildren, Mallory Robbins (Arnis), Clay Davis (Ashleigh), Kaci Salazar, Kelsey Davis, Kyra Davis (Brayden), Connor Sparks, Elliot Davis, Faith Jimenez (Bryce), Lauren Sneed (Nick), Jordan Sneed and Elliott Hitchcock. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
