It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francisca Coronado Duarte Contreras of Lubbock, Texas, born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on July 20, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Coronado and Eudelia Coronado (Gonzalez); and her husband Santiago "Jimmy" Contreras. She is survived by: her daughter Josephina Gonzales; her grandsons, Michael Duarte and Jayson Garcia; her children, Daniel San Juan Duarte, David Duarte (Laura), Irlene Landin (Richard), Dianne Duarte (Joel Almanza), Isaias Duarte (Betty) and Jesus Miguel Duarte; and her siblings, Guadalupe Coronado, Jesus Coronado, Jr., Oralia Lopez, Janie G. Coronado and Delia Romero. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.
