With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Felipa Romero (Lubbock, Texas), who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Felipa Zuniga; her husband Arthur J. Romero, Jr.; her parent Evaristo Zuniga, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Helen Perez, Paul Zuniga and Johnny Zuniga.

She is survived by: her children, Roxanna Romero of Lubbock, TX, Anthony J. Romero (Tracy) of San Marcos, TX and Nicole Moreno (Pete) of Lubbock, TX; her siblings, Linda Narvaiz (Amado) of San Marcos and Evaristo Zuniga, Jr. (Denise) of San Marcos; and her grandchildren, Vanessa Reyna, Amanda Alaniz, Reyna Alaniz, Nicholas Gonzales, Joseph Minjarez, Jayne Minjarez, Marisol Minjarez, Amanda Gonzalez, Nickolas Gonzalez and Antoinette Gonzalez. She is also survived by her family and friends as a woman who loved her children and grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Guajardo Funeral Chapels (407 N University Ave, Lubbock, TX 79415).
