It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Doyce Cooper of Lubbock, Texas, born in Loop, Texas, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Batteas and Viola Batteas; her husband Kent Cooper; her son Rod; and her siblings, Bonnie Donald, Jimmie Batteas and LaWayne Batteas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Molly Howell (Doug) and Kenna Cooper; her grandchildren, Chad Howell (Kara), Holly Rivera (Aaron), Landon Howell (Jeanine), Sherry Guthrie, Daniel Cooper (Melissa) and Abby (Kelli); her great grandchildren, Kylar, Cade, Creed, Emma, Caedmon, Easton, Katie, Grace, Brooklyn, Siena of Robert, AJ, Eliy, Quill, Danny, Madison, Austin, Ian and Rylie; her sister Shirley Harris; and her extended family, Patsy Batteas, Gordon Cooper, Mary Brock, Ollie Whitener and Mary Cooper.
