She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward Lee Garrett and Vivian Osteen McCleskey Garrett; her husband Buck; her grandson Zane Justin Hodges; and her siblings, Joseph Glenn Garrett, Lester Garrett, Vernon Garrett, Edward Garrett, Olean Watkins, Ruth Ford and Juanita Owens.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheree Shooter; her grandchildren, April Messer (Tim) of Lubbock and Cole Shooter (Gail) of Lubbock; her great grandchildren, Landon Zane Messer, Aniston Taylor Messer, Zane Shooter and Connor Shooter; and her brother Billy Garrett.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sanders Memorial Chapel (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Plains SPCA.
