With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Stevens of Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on December 4, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Stevens and Maudie Stevens (Douglass); his nephew William "Martell" Pool; and also Sarah Stevens (Saffels). He is survived by: his children, Vicki "Leah" Plavney of Frisco, Douglass Stevens of Falls Church and Saralee Stevens of Lubbock, Texas; his grandchildren, Amy Plavney Rumsey, Donovan Stevens, Preston Hempel, Chandler Hempel, Cassidy Hempel, Noah Stevens and Evangeline Stevens; and his great grandchild Riley Rumsey.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel (104 E Ave F, Muleshoe, TX 79347). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Muleshoe Memorial Park (310 Main St #103, Muleshoe, TX 79347).
