David Tate Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Tate in Lubbock, Texas, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James David and Sarah Arlean Tate (Diggs). He is survived by: his wife Charlie Chambles; his daughters, Tammy Willis (Matt) and Jody Acrey (Kevin); his grandchildren, Aden Acrey, Tate Willis and Robert Willis; his sister Debra Tate; and his nieces and nephews, Allison Tate-Cortese and James Tate-Cortese.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (2323 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401).
