He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Malaise, Sr. and Betty Jane Malaise (Rector); and his brother John William Malaise, Jr. (Dub). He is survived by: his sister Liddie Malaise of Lubbock, TX; his sister-in-law Gail Malaise of Savannah, TX; his nephews, Todd Malaise of San Antonio, TX and Chris McIntosh of Melissa, TX; and his niece Resa Rottino of Plano, TX. He is also survived by 6 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home (602 Lindsay St, Gainesville, TX 76240). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (710 Fair Ave, Gainesville, TX 76240).
