He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Abney and Loweta Abney (Shipp); and his wife Lynda. He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Altman (Sheryl) of Muleshoe, Texas and Mitzi Reding (Bud) of Lubbock; his grandchildren, LeAnn Helton (Brad), Lindsay Ramage (Dusty), Cody Altman (Amberlee), Carey Rumbaugh (Rusty), Ragen Schaefer (Levi), Maddie Dowell (Denton) and Morgan Weeks; his great grandchildren, Alee, Hudson Helton, Rowdy, Kenadee Ramage, Bodie, Blevins, Brilynne Altman, Ralee, Ruby Rumbaugh, Saylor, Sunnie Schaefer and Dakota Dowell; and his brother Harold Abney (Kay).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Frist Baptist Church of Levelland in Clint's Honor.
