In the vast expanse of eternity, Blake shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Blake farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Murrie Wood and Jackie Wood (Farr). He is survived by: his wife Renee Fisher Wood; his daughters, Madison Wood McCrory (Michael) of Dallas and Morgan Wood Caranfa (Carson) of Dallas; and his sister Kim Green (Mark) of Lubbock. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Combest Family Funeral Home (2202 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2201 Broadway St, Lubbock, TX 79401).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to Lubbock Impact or MD Anderson Cancer Center.
