Billie Jo Shuttlesworth Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billie Jo Shuttlesworth of Lubbock, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2024 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Billie Jo Shuttlesworth to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lee Adair, Sr. and Ulilla Ione Adair (Howard); her former husbands, Robert Shelton Mahan (Bob) and Raymond Dale Pectol, Sr.; her husband Joe A. Shuttlesworth; and her siblings, Buster Adair and Martha Corriere.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Beene (Russell) and Raymond Dale Pectol, Jr. (Nanette); her siblings, Truitt Adair (Kay) and Jimmie Pectol (Ben); her stepchildren, Lynn Shuttlesworth, Diane, Dee Shuttlesworth and Diana; and her daughter-in-law Pam Shuttlesworth. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Combest Family Memorial Chapel (2210 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Church of Christ (3723 34th St, Lubbock, TX 79410).
