He is survived by: his wife Elda Prentice; his children, Linda Luckie (Pat), Glenn Ivins (Melissa) and Larry Ivins (Tina); his stepchildren, Carol Drew and Chris Prentice; and his siblings, Jim Ivins of Gladys Burhans, J. C, Virginia Ivins and Roy Don Ivins. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
