It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Locke (Lubbock, Texas), who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Locke and Ruby Davis Locke; his grandchild Thomas Locke; and his siblings, Lavita Locke, Walter Wayne Locke and Juanita Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Locke; his sons, Jon (Amy Locke) and James (Ruth Ann Locke); his grandchildren, Maria Locke, Madison (Troy Chester), Brandon Locke, Sydney Locke, Kirsten Locke and Cooper Locke; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Stephens. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

“I first met Dr. Locke when I took his class, (Behavior Modification) my first semester as a Psychology Ph.D. student at TT. I played basketball almost every weekday at noon with Bill, some psychology and other department faculty, and a few students. Not all of us were "old guys". He always hustled. I chose Bill as a member of my dissertation committee because of a match with our research interests. He was helpful to me as a committee member. My best wishes to his family. Philip Davis, Ph.D.”
