She is survived by: her children, Oscar D. Shorten, Jr. (Melissa Beck) and Margaret Hayhurst; her grandchildren, Christian Shorten, Jonathan Shorten, Paxton Shorten, Bre Shorten and Brendley Shorten of Lubbock; her siblings, Kirby Greene, Michael Greene, Jo Ann Bowler, Peggie Jama of Oklahoma City and Sharon Dean of Tulsa; her close friend Paulette Jenkins of Tulsa; and her caregivers, Samantha Baggett and Brenna Wilson Shorten of Lubbock. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Warford Rose Chapel (509 N Hughes St, Amarillo, TX 79107).
