She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Slack and Rueta Onstott; her spouse Carel Whisenhunt, Sr.; and her daughter Dee Blair. She is survived by: her children, Carel Whisenhunt and Edie Davilla of Dripping Springs, Texas.; and her sisters, Peggy Wynn of Oaks, Joyce Watts of Antlers and Doris Welch of Oaks, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Combest Family Memorial Chapel (2210 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
