She is survived by: her daughters, Glenda Rae Thornton, Frances Kay Newton-Peasland (Mike) and Nancy Karen Stone (Ken); her sister Mary Frances Anderson; her grandchildren, Brian Thornton (Grassiana), Amber Maurer (Robert), Lee Newton (Danna), Erin Peasland, Alysa, Leif, Ray, Jude and Suze; and her caregiver Chloe.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Sanders Funeral Home (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sanders Funeral Home Chapel (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401).
