He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edmond Knippa and Mary Josephine Knippa (Williams); and his siblings, Owen Lee Knippa, Hollie Sparkman and Mildred Von Haefen.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Bond; his children, Kathy Stone, Karen Aldrich (Gip) and Keith Knippa (Melissa); his grandchildren, Matt Stone (Rachel) and Kirsten Stone; his great grandchild Jeremiah Stone; his brother Donald Paul Knippa; and his pet Maria.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park (5740 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Redbud Baptist Church (801 Slide Rd, Lubbock, TX 79416).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Redbud Baptist Church Building Fund.
