We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Anita Guzman (Lubbock, Texas). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Anita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Domingo Guzman, Jr.; her brother Dan (Maria Cervanto); and her sister-in-law Janie Cervantez. She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Guzman, Rudy Guzman, Yolanda Cerrille and Robert Guzman. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Guajardo Funeral Chapels (407 N University Ave, Lubbock, TX 79415). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (102 N Avenue P, Lubbock, TX 79401). A burial will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at the Idalou Cemetery.
