He is survived by: his wife Jan Taylor of Jean; his son Zane Taylor of Jermyn Tx; his stepsons, Chris Slater (Nephratiri) of Megargel and Cody Slater (Misty) of Benbrook; his adoptive son James Benson (Sherri) of Olney; his goddaughters, Allie Birkenfeld (Jonathan) of Munday and Ashley Ferguson of Abilene; his grandchildren, Coby Slater, Haylie Slater, Mia Slater and Randee Slater; his brother Pat Taylor (Lynette) of Loving; his niece Lauren Tominson (Coy) of Marble Falls; and his nephews, Casey Taylor (Renae) of Montgomery and Jake Taylor of Kyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital or the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
