It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Johnson (Lovelady, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father J. M. "Jimmy" Johnson; and his grandparents, LaHoma LaMance and Hubert LaMance. He is survived by : his mother Charline Story Johnson of Lovelady; his wife Vickie Johnson of Sugar land; his daughter Mandy Avila, and Husband Edgar Avila of The Woodlands; and his grandchildren, Mia Avila and Emmie Avila. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
