She was predeceased by: her great grandchildren, Danny Salmon and Liam Preston; her parent Carolyn Slayers; and her brother John Sumrall. She is survived by: her children, James Richardson of Crosby and Jennifer Preston (Troy) of Lovelady; her grandchildren, Tory Preston, Tabitha Preston, T. J. Preston, Trenton Preston, Tyler Richardson, Lucas Richardson, Marcus Richardson and Gabriel Richardson; her great grandchildren, Anna Smith, Brantley Smith, Colt Salmon, Levi Preston and Logan Preston; and her sister Rhonda DePew of Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home (700 E Houston Ave, Crockett, TX 75835).
