We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2020, at the age of 78, Dot Smith of Lovelady, Texas, born in Bristol, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William Bernays Chamberlin; her husband Charles Edward "Chuck" Smith; her mother Dorothy Osgood Chamberlin; and her siblings, Bill Chamberlin, Art Chamberlin and Bert Bottomley.

She is survived by: her children, Laurie Solomon (Mark) of Lovelady and Bobby Smith (Paige) of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Amanda Saldana (Roger), Stephanie Adkins (Russell), Stephen Solomon, Aaron Smith (Brittney), Ethan Smith (Selena), Caleb Smith (Tori), Zachary Alexander and Kendall Alexander; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Saldana, Max Smith, Caroline Smith, Charlee Smith and Ryker Smith; her sister Ruth Kershner; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Chamberlin and Nella Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Traditions Hospice, 600 E. Loop 304, Crockett, TX 75835.
