It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Shelly of Lovelady, Texas, born in Québec, Québec, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Vatcher and Mary Mansbridge Vatcher; her husband James E. Shelly, Sr.; her son Patrick Shelly; and her siblings, Thomas Vatcher, Robert Vatcher and Doreen Vatcher Allard.
She is survived by: her sons, James Shelly, Jr. of Lovelady and John Lawrence Shelly of Lovelady; and her siblings, Allan Vatcher of Quebec, George Vatcher of Quebec, Hilda Vatcher Gallichon of Quebec and Elizabeth Vatcher Cormier of Quebec. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis of the Tejas Catholic Church, 609 North 4th St. Crockett, TX 75835.
