Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Davis McClure Sr. (Louise, Texas), who passed away at the age of 83, on September 5, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Acy Earnest McClure and Johnnie Annie McClure (Early); his siblings, Dewey Odel McClure, Luther McClure, Mary Ann Helms and Patsy Ruth Bryant; and his great grandchild Daniel Bryan Cooper.

He is survived by: his wife Louise McClure; and his children, John D. McClure, Jr. (Debbie) of Gatesville, Jimmy McClure of Waco, Paul Matthews (Deborah) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Teresa Edwards (Loyd) of Lorena, Paula Robbins of Gatesville and Cathy Burks (Paul) of Belton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
