He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Townsend and Ruby Townsend; his wife Debbie Carleston Townsend; his daughter Tana Townsend Hajovsky; his father-in-law John Carleston; and his siblings, Betty Townsend and Kenneth Townsend.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanya Townsend Bram (Craig); his son-in-law Cory Hajovsky; his grandchildren, Caleb Bram, Cade Bram, Cale Bram and Logan Hajovsky; his siblings, Carolyn Keaton, Linda Taylor (Robin), Clyde Townsend and Shirley Collinsworth (Jerry); his mother-in-law Helen Carleston; his sister-in-law Cynthia Blaha (Bud); and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Taylor, Clint Blaha (Miranda), Tracy King, Lachelle Callihan (Wes) and Caydi Blaha.
