Brown and Marie Pazie Brown; his former wife Mary Lynn Murphy; his wife Carolyn Brown of Lott; his stepson Robert Pinkston (Emma) of Richardson; his grandchildren, Thomas Pinkston and Lauryn Pinkston; and his nieces and nephews, Richard Darby, Tad Darby, Monica McMurtry and Terri Ashley.
