He was predeceased by: his parents, David G. Caraveo and Angelita V. Caraveo; and his sister Elida C. Nuñez. He is survived by: his children, Ygnacio Caraveo Jr. (Angie) and Yvonne Rubi Tovar (Jose); his wife Rosita G. Caraveo; his grandsons, David Caraveo, Daniel Caraveo and Damian Caraveo; and his siblings, Esther Caraveo, Elva McNurlan, Elena Caraveo and David Caraveo Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
