It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sofia R. Muñoz of Los Fresnos, Texas, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paulo Rodriguez and Rosa Quintero; her husband Jose Muñoz, Sr.; her children, Rosita Muñoz, Jesus Muñoz and Jose Munoz, Jr. (Delia); and her siblings, Francisco Rodriguez and Amparo Quintero.
She is survived by: her children, Eloisa Cuate (David), Sofia Esquivel, Juan Muñoz (Alicia), Lupita Arredondo (Joe), Felix Muñoz (Rossy), Rufino Muñoz (Rosa), Paul Muñoz (Janie), Daniel Muñoz (Nora), Victoria Brisky (Bill), Virginio Muñoz (Veronica), Francisco Muñoz (Patricia) and Guadalupe Muñoz; and her brothers, Daniel Rodriguez, Ramiro Quintero and Jesus Quintero. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
