Ramon Castillo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ramon Castillo of Los Fresnos, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Carmen Castillo; his wife Maria; his brother Ezekiel Garcia; his father Ramon Loredo Garcia; and his grandparents, Enedino and Francisca Garcia.
He is survived by: his children, Mauro Castillo (Esmer) of Rio Hondo, Laura Castillo (Jaime) of Pflugerville, Maria, Carmen Castillo (Carlos) of Brownsville, Maribel Garcia (Rod) of Pflugerville, Francis Castillo of Fort Worth and Janie Castillo (Mark) of El Paso; and his siblings, Martin Castillo (Ana), Juanita, Andres Garcia (Agapita), Eva Salazar (Joe), Raul Garcia (Leticia), Mary Rodriguez (Joe) and Patricia Castillo (Jorge). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (606 W Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX 78566). A burial was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Los Cuates Cemetery (Los Fresnos, TX 78566).
