She was predeceased by: her husband Jesus Amaya Sr.; and her parents, Bartolome Castro and Veronica Castro. She is survived by: her children, Jesus Amaya (Rosanely), Rosario Amaya, Bertha Alicia Reyes (Jose Luis) and Marisela Leija (Jose Luis).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 12:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Angels (125 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens (4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526).
