She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Carranza and Antonia Reyes Carranza. She is survived by: her children, Martin Castilleja, Ana Castilleja, Juan Castilleja (Chriselda), Victor Castilleja (Erika), Laura Castilleja and Veronica Hinojosa (Juan); her grandchildren, Juan Pedro Castilleja, Vicente A. Castilleja, Juaquin Hinojosa and Oziel Hinojosa; and her brother Eduardo Carranza.
