He is survived by: his children, Brandon Hastey (Laura Hastey) of West Columbia and Leah Ball (Brandon Ball) of Odessa; his grandchildren, Dalton Hastey, Dylan Hastey, Taylor Hastey and Brea Ball; his aunt Bessie Purdy; his uncle Maurice Hastey; and his close friend Teresa Givens.
