He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucius Vandine and Dorotha Vandine; and his siblings, Verla Blind, Dean Vandine and Eugene Vandine.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Vandine (Kim) and Dee Watts (Kevin); and his siblings, Erma Foster (Robert), Patricia Groah (David) and Daniel Vandine (Terri). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
