He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Frances and John McKown; his son John Wayne; his foster son Tom (Donna); and his brother Kenneth McKown.
He is survived by: his wife Donna McKown; his sons, Bruce Wesley (Martina) and Fabian (Ellen); his sister Sue (Terry); and his grandchildren, Crystal, Lisa, Chris, Mandy and Zack.
