He is survived by: his children, Alton Douglas Jones, Mary Kimberly Jones, Kim Payne of Lorena, TX, Doug Jones of Caldwell, TX and Mike McDonald of Pottsboro, TX; his grandchildren, Jennifer Pitts (Corey, Dr), Alese Roemisch (Andrew, Zak Jones), Joel McDonald (Marie) and Lauren McDonald; and his nephew Rick Jones.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Bruceville Baptist Church, PO Box 1118, Bruceville, TX 76630.
