He is survived by: his son Robert Loyd Pennington (Machelle); his brother James Salter; his grandchildren, Johnny Lee Pennington (Tonya) and Lacy Powell; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Kindred, Avery Kindred, Levi Kindred, Frayja McConnell and Jaxon Lee Pennington.
