He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Turner; his brother Jimmy Lou Turner; and his half-brother Larry Ray. He is survived by: his wife Nita Ray; his mother Geraldine Turner; his children, Corey Ray (Denise) and Kelly Balderrama (Matthew); his grandchildren, Colby, Lexie Ray, Ridge and Hadley Balderrama; his stepgranddaughter Ashton Nuebert; his sisters, Debbie Armstrong and Barbara Sullivan (Ron); and his half-siblings, Billy Don Ray, Gary Ray, Sandra Ray and Mary Upchurch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
