He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Jones and Iva Aline Jones; his parents-in-law, Doyle and Hattie Motley; his sister Shirley Smith; his half-brother Jerry Jones; and his close friend Rickey Liles.
He is survived by: his friend Daryl Cobbs; his wife Sharon Motley; his children, Brandon Douglas Jones, Tara Jones Delѐon (Chris) and Troy Jones; his grandchildren, Kyler Jones, Anna, Elena DeLѐon and Brewski; his brother Bobby (Elaine); and his friend Doyle Lawless.
