He was predeceased by: his parent Bernice Smith Dolan; his stepfather Howard Dolan; and his brother Mark. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Kenneth and Kelly; and his siblings, Leah Smith and Howard Dolan, Jr. (Nipper). He is also survived by four grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Order of Eastern Star or Shriner's Hospital, organizations Scottie felt strongly about.
