He was predeceased by: his parents, Waymon Charles and Crystal Lyles Young; his wife Joan Young; and his siblings, Keith Young, Charlene Hord and Wanda Maltsberger.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Young (Carla) of Loop and Diane McCutchen (Scott) of Brownfield; his grandchildren, Michael Ribble (Kelly), Trevor Young and Kelli Young Moore (Tanner); and his great grandchildren, Tanner Ribble, Taryn Ribble, Bennett Moore, Callen Moore and Ellis Moore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brownfield Funeral Home (120 W Tate St, Brownfield, TX 79316). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Loop Cemetery (1473 FM303, Loop, TX 79342).
