She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Roscoe and Mary Willie Ponder (Buckalew); her husband Leland Neeper; her in-laws, Lloyd and Henri Lee Neeper; her grandson Mark Steele; and her brothers, J. D. Ponder (Mary) and Henry Ponder.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lee Steele (Al) of Flora, MS and Layne Neeper (Carol) of Morehead, KY; her grandchildren, Laura Sessions (Richie), David Steele (Lauren), Lowell Neeper and Hannah Neeper; her great grandchild Mary Leslie Sessions; her grandchildren, Griffin Sessions, Margaret Sessions and Mary Cameron Steele; and her sister-in-law Genell Ponder. She is also survived by several nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or First Baptist Church, Longview, TX.
