She was predeceased by: her parents, Alpha Omega and Mary Iola Capps Burns; her husband Joe Parker Harris; her son Stephen Cai Harris; and her siblings, Melvin Burns, Charles Burns, Elsie Ebbeling and Wilbur Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Jonathan Harris (Kathleen) and Joanna Harris Bounds (Greg); her daughter-in-law Karen Harris; her grandchildren, Kyanne Harris Todd, Amy Bounds Neshem (Daniel), Joshua Cai Harris, Christopher Scott Bounds (Lindsay), Benjamin Michael Weindorff and Katherine Isabelle Weindorff; and her great grandchildren, Lexi Todd, Gideon Wyatt Bounds and Jane Luise Bounds. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel (1131 TX-149, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Harris Cemetery (Carthage, TX 75633).
