He was predeceased by : his parents, Angeline Myles and Rev. Daniel Myles. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Myles; his children, Odell Myles Jr. (Yolanda), Michelle Walker and LaRhonya Knight; his grandchildren, Erica Walker-Lewis, Monique Walker, Ariel Knight-Murphy, KeShawn Bolt, James Williams and Kennedi Durham; his siblings, Robert Myles (Millie), Ralph Myles (Patricia), Joseph Myles, Gloria Recasner, Aldrema Foster and Brenda Myles; his siblings-in-law, Charlie Hamilton, Arthur Hamilton (Kim), Willie Mae Jackson, Betty Myles, Alice Wilburn and Geraldine Maxson; his aunt Rosie Shields; and his niece Carol Morris. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Craig Funeral Home (2001 S Green St, Longview, TX 75602). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (306 S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Longview, TX 75602).
